DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
Public Works is responsible for the development, operation, maintenance, inspection, design and engineering of streets, beaches, parks, drainage systems and refuse disposal. Public Works is also responsible for leisure services. The activities of the department are intended to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the community through the construction and maintenance of public facilities and through the provision of recreational leisure services.
