DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Human Resource Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintains functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, workers compensation and safety, regulatory compliance, union relations, payroll functions, and benefits to include all group insurances, voluntary supplements, retirement and COBRA.

The Human Resource Manager serves as the City's Privacy Officer (HIPPA) and EEO Coordinator.
